Bookkeeping and monthly closing
Day-to-day entries, bank and ledger reconciliations, and a monthly close so profit and loss, balance sheet and receivables are current.
02 · Run clean
Our accounting services for small business owners in Bangalore cover the work that has to happen every month: bookkeeping, GST, payroll, TDS and professional tax. One team keeps all of it in step, so your sales figures, tax filings and salary records tell the same story.
For many Bengaluru businesses these jobs are split between a part-time bookkeeper, a GST consultant and someone who runs salaries on a spreadsheet. Each piece gets done, but nobody checks that the pieces agree. The gaps show up later as blocked input tax credit, mismatched TDS or a notice asking you to explain a difference you did not know existed.

The work
Day-to-day entries, bank and ledger reconciliations, and a monthly close so profit and loss, balance sheet and receivables are current.
Registration and amendments, monthly or quarterly returns, input tax credit matching and annual returns where they apply to you.
Salary computation, payslips, statutory deductions and a salary register your team can check, with structures set up properly from the start.
Deduction, deposit and periodic returns for TDS, plus professional tax registration and payments under Karnataka rules.
Help reading GST and tax notices, gathering the records behind them and preparing replies with our partner professionals.
Our approach
We begin by looking at what exists: your accounting software, bank accounts, past returns and how bills reach the person who records them. Where the history has gaps, we fix the opening position before taking on the monthly work, because clean filings depend on clean opening balances.
After that the work runs on a fixed monthly calendar. Bills and bank data come in by an agreed date, books are closed, GST and TDS figures are reconciled against the books before filing, and payroll is checked against attendance and contracts. The work is carried out by our team and partner Chartered Accountants, and you get a short note each month on what was filed and anything that needs your attention.
How we work
Working together
This is monthly retainer work, since the returns and payroll recur every month. If your books are behind, a one-off project to bring them up to date usually comes first.
FAQ
It depends on your turnover, what you sell and how you sell it. Some businesses must register whatever their turnover, for example in certain inter-state or e-commerce cases. We check your situation against the current rules before you register or decide not to.
Most regular taxpayers file GSTR-1, which reports outward supplies, and GSTR-3B, a summary return through which tax is paid. How often you file depends on turnover and the scheme you opt for, and some businesses also have an annual return. We set up the calendar that applies to you.
Yes. We review the entries made so far, reconcile them with bank statements and past returns, correct what needs correcting, and then continue month by month from there.
Yes. Payroll is useful from the first few employees, because salary structures, deductions and payslips are easier to set up correctly at the start than to unwind later.
