SOP Writing and Process Implementation

Our SOP writing services in Bangalore turn the way your business works into clear, written procedures that your team can follow without asking you. We document what happens today, fix the steps that cause delays or errors, and then help the team adopt the new way of working.

Most growing businesses run on the knowledge of a few people. When one of them is on leave or leaves, quality drops and the owner steps back in. Written processes are what let a Bengaluru business hire, train and expand without each new person learning by trial and error.

Who it's for

Built for owners at this stage

  • Owner-led businesses where staff still check every decision with the founder
  • Retail, hospitality, clinics and service businesses opening a second location
  • Teams that hire often and spend weeks training each new joiner
  • Businesses whose existing SOPs are out of date or ignored

What we hear

Problems we solve

  1. The same task is done three different ways by three different people
  2. New hires take months to become useful because nothing is written down
  3. Mistakes repeat because nobody owns the step where they happen
  4. SOPs exist, but they are long documents nobody opens
  5. Opening a new branch means the owner has to be there in person

The work

What's included

Operations review

A walk-through of how work flows today, where it stalls and where errors start, before anything is written.

Process documentation

Process maps and step-by-step SOPs written in plain language, with owners, inputs, timelines and what to do when something goes wrong.

Checklists and templates

Short checklists, forms and trackers that sit where the work happens, so the SOP is used rather than filed away.

Rollout and training

Walkthroughs with the team, a trial period, and changes to the documents based on what happens in practice.

Periodic review

A check after rollout to confirm the process is being followed, and updates when the business changes.

Our approach

How we deliver it

We write SOPs with the people who do the work, not from a meeting room. We watch the task being done, ask why each step exists, and remove the steps that only exist out of habit. The format follows your team: a one-page checklist at a billing counter, a shared document for the back office, or a workflow inside software you already use.

Writing is the easier half. The harder half is getting a busy team to change how they work, so we stay through rollout, collect questions, and adjust the procedure until it holds. As a business process consultant, our job is finished when the process runs without us checking on it.

How we work

Understand first, then solve

  1. UnderstandHow your business actually runs
  2. DesignA solution that fits you
  3. ImplementProcesses, systems and tools, put in place
  4. Stay with youAs your business grows

Working together

How engagements usually run

SOP work is usually a project, scoped by the number of processes or departments. Some clients follow it with a light monthly review to keep procedures current as the business grows.

FAQ

Questions owners ask

How do I write an SOP for my business?

Start with one process that causes repeated problems. Watch it being done, list each step in order, note who does it and what they need, and add what to do when something goes wrong. Test it with someone new to the task, then fix whatever confused them.

What should an SOP include?

Its purpose, who owns it, when it starts, the steps in order, the tools or forms involved, and how exceptions are handled. Good SOPs are short enough to use while doing the work.

Why do teams stop following SOPs?

Usually because the document is too long, does not match how the work is really done, or nobody checks whether it is followed. Writing SOPs with the team and reviewing them after rollout addresses all three.

How long does it take to document our processes?

It depends on how many processes and locations are involved. A single department can be quick; a whole business takes longer because rollout and training need time. We agree the scope and order of work at the start.
