Pitch deck structure and writing
Problem, solution, market, traction, business model, team, competition, the ask and use of funds, written plainly and ordered the way investors read.
04 · Grow and transact
We prepare the investor pitch deck and financial projections a founder needs before the first serious investor meeting: a deck that tells the story in the order investors read it, and a model that still makes sense when they open the spreadsheet.
Many Bangalore founders build the deck and the model separately, and it shows. The deck promises one growth rate, the model assumes another, and the hiring plan sits in neither. Investors notice. We keep the narrative, the numbers and the supporting documents in step, so every question has one answer. We do not raise money on your behalf or promise an outcome; we make sure you walk in prepared.

What we hear
The work
Problem, solution, market, traction, business model, team, competition, the ask and use of funds, written plainly and ordered the way investors read.
A driver-based model linking revenue, costs, headcount and cash, with base, cautious and stretch scenarios and assumptions you can change and defend.
A clear line from the amount you are raising to what it will be spent on and the milestones it should carry you to.
Incorporation papers, cap table, agreements, accounts and compliance records organised before an investor asks for them.
A practice run on the questions your numbers are likely to draw, so your answers stay consistent from one meeting to the next.
Our approach
We start from your accounts and your plan, not a template. Historic numbers anchor the model, and the deck is written after the model, so the story rests on figures that already reconcile. You own the assumptions; our job is to pressure-test them before an investor does.
Where a priced round needs a valuation, or a statutory valuation report has to be filed, we bring in our valuation work and partner registered valuers. After the round, the same model becomes the base for investor reporting, which is where many founders move on to Virtual CFO support.
How we work
Working together
Deck and model preparation is a project, normally finished before outreach begins. Founders who want support through the round and the reporting that follows often continue on a monthly Virtual CFO retainer.
FAQ
Most investors expect the problem, your solution, the market, traction so far, how you make money, the team, the competition, how much you are raising and what it will be used for. Keep it short enough to read in a few minutes, and make sure every number in it matches your financial model.
Detailed enough to show how the business makes money. A common format is monthly for the first year or two and annual after that, with revenue drivers, costs, hiring and cash shown separately. Investors care less about the headline figure than about whether the assumptions behind it are reasonable.
We do not act as a broker and do not promise introductions, funding or a particular valuation. Our role is to prepare the deck, the model and the documents so that you can run the fundraise yourself, well prepared.
It depends on how current your accounts are and how settled your plan is. Founders with up-to-date books move faster. We agree a timeline once we have seen what exists today.
