Wills, MOUs and Legal Documentation

Our will drafting services in Bangalore help individuals, families and business owners put their wishes in writing clearly enough that the people they leave behind do not have to guess. Wills, MOUs and business documents are prepared with our partner advocates, while we make sure each document reflects the full picture of your assets, family and business.

We are not a law firm and do not represent clients in court. What we add is the part many documents miss: an accurate view of what you own, how your businesses are held and who depends on them. For Bengaluru families with property, shares or a running business, that view matters as much as the legal wording.

Who it's for

Built for owners at this stage

  • Individuals and couples who want a will covering property, investments and accounts
  • Business owners whose shares or partnership interest need a succession plan
  • NRIs with property or investments in Bengaluru
  • Families who need guardianship or the care of a dependant addressed
  • Businesses that need MOUs and routine agreements prepared properly

What we hear

Problems we solve

  1. There is no will, or an old one no longer reflects the family or the assets
  2. A business interest has no clear path to the next generation
  3. Assets are spread across cities, accounts and entities with no single list
  4. Business documents were copied from the internet and do not match the deal

A clear list of property, investments, accounts, business interests and nominations, and of the people you want to provide for.

Our approach

How we deliver it

A will drafted from a form records names and percentages. We start with a conversation about the family, the assets and the business, including the harder questions: who should run the business, how to treat children who work in it and those who do not, and what happens if a beneficiary dies first.

Drafting is then done with our partner advocates, and we take you through the final document line by line before it is signed. Business documents follow the same order: understand the deal first, then put it in writing in terms both sides can follow.

How we work

Understand first, then solve

  1. UnderstandHow your business actually runs
  2. DesignA solution that fits you
  3. ImplementProcesses, systems and tools, put in place
  4. Stay with youAs your business grows

Working together

How engagements usually run

A will or a set of business documents is a short project. Families with business interests often pair it with a structuring review, so the will and the business documents point the same way.

FAQ

Questions owners ask

Is a will valid without registration in India?

Yes. Registering a will is optional in India. A will that is properly written, signed by the person making it and attested by witnesses can be valid without registration. Registration adds an official record, which can help if the will is questioned later, so we discuss whether it suits your situation.

Do I need a lawyer to make a will?

No rule says a lawyer must draft a will, but wills written without advice are more likely to be unclear or disputed. Ours are prepared with our partner advocates, while we focus on making the content complete and accurate.

Can an NRI make a will for property in Bangalore?

Yes. NRIs can make a will covering their assets in India. Where assets sit in more than one country, the will should be drafted with both sets of rules in mind, and we point out where advice abroad is needed.

How often should a will be updated?

Review it after any major change: a marriage, divorce, birth or death in the family, buying or selling property, or a change in a business you own. An outdated will can leave out new assets or name executors who are no longer the right choice.
