Income Tax Return Filing in Bangalore

We handle income tax return filing in Bangalore for individuals, business owners, partnership firms, LLPs and companies, along with returns for non-resident Indians who still have income in India. Each return starts from your records, not from a form, so what you report can be explained if a question comes later.

The return itself is rarely the hard part. The work is in collecting income from every source, checking it against what the Income Tax Department already holds about you, choosing the right form and regime, and claiming only what you can support. For many people in Bengaluru with salary, rent, investments and a side business, that takes more care than a quick online filing allows.

Our approach

How we deliver it

Before we prepare anything, we download your Annual Information Statement and Form 26AS and compare them with your own documents: salary statements, bank interest, broker reports, rent agreements and business accounts. Differences are resolved first, either by correcting the source or by noting why the return differs.

Returns are prepared by our team and partner Chartered Accountants, and we share a summary of income, deductions and tax payable for your approval before filing. For NRIs we work over email and video calls, and agree early on how the return will be verified so the filing is not held up while you are abroad.

How we work

Understand first, then solve

  1. UnderstandHow your business actually runs
  2. DesignA solution that fits you
  3. ImplementProcesses, systems and tools, put in place
  4. Stay with youAs your business grows

Working together

How engagements usually run

Individual returns are usually a yearly project. Business owners and companies often pair the return with a monthly retainer for accounts, so the year-end filing comes from books that are already up to date.

FAQ

Questions owners ask

Can NRIs file income tax returns from abroad?

Yes. Returns are filed online on the Income Tax Department e-filing portal, so being outside India is not a barrier in itself. Whether you need to file depends on your residential status for the year and the income you earned in India, which we work out with you first.

Do I still need to file a return if TDS has already been deducted?

Often, yes. Tax deducted at source does not by itself remove the obligation to file, and filing is also how excess TDS is claimed back. Whether filing is required in your case depends on your total income and other conditions for the year.

Which ITR form should a business owner use?

It depends on the type of income, the kind of entity and whether you use presumptive taxation. Forms and eligibility rules are revised from time to time, so we confirm the correct form for the year you are filing rather than relying on last year.

What documents do I need for income tax return filing?

Usually your PAN and Aadhaar details, salary certificates, bank and investment statements, rent and property documents, records of deductions you plan to claim and, for business owners, the books of account. We send a checklist tailored to your income sources.
